About Me
My name is David Brodsky, and this page is dedicated to the various landscaping and handyman services that I provide. Check out the various service pages and blog posts and contact me if you think I'd be a good fit for your project. Service Options
I have 12 years of experience with maintenance work, and I can give you useful information about your weeds and grass, clean leaves and debris out of garden beds and off lawns, make recommendations about and remove shrubs, and small trees, prune and trim perennials, shrubs, and trees in an efficient way, and dispose of yard and other waste off a property. I use tools like hedge trimmers, pole saws, weed whackers, leaf blowers, and lawn mowers among others with or without a ladder.
I have cleaning experience, and while I’m not yet a professional in that I don’t know what works in many cases, I am learning about different chemical applications and strategies in different situations. I don’t give up in a lot of situations, and I try multiple solutions before determining that a surface cannot be cleaned or repaired.
I have a lot of experience with some aspects of landscape renovations and am much more new to other types of work. I am knowledgeable and can provide topdressing solutions for garden beds (mulch, soil amendments). I am knowledgeable about plants and can make recommendations for installations and maintenance of existing plants. I have some experience with paver and slab installations and relays as well as polymeric sand installation. I can manage a very simple paver or slab project and am comfortable providing a polymeric sand solution for pavers. I have very little experience with concrete and retaining walls, but I’m interested in learning (1 project for each).
I love to cook, and it would be fantastic to actually have some private chef customers. Let me cook for you. I won’t give you food poisoning, my prices aren’t too high, the quality of the cooking is decent, and it’ll be done at your home. So, if you’d like kitchen help or to have an affordable private chef, reach out.
I have a bit of experience with interior and exterior painting but need to build experience here. I’m not a professional painter at this time. I’m more familiar with wood staining, and I can offer an effective, clean concrete sealing solution.
I have some experience working on my own vehicle. I’m available for vehicle repair work that doesn’t involve anything safety-related. No mechanic license.
I am not offering snow removal this year (2026)
This is a relatively new type of work for me. I can rent a uhaul, find a helper, and come over to move whatever you need to move (and whatever I can figure out how to safely move) from point A to point B. I’m also okay with furniture assembly as long as there are clear instructions and a bit of research is done beforehand as to how to build or disassemble something.
I have a little experience repairing my own laptop. I’m available for simple repairs to old, non-essential laptops and phones.

Contact me through my contact form or phone number to ask any questions and/or to arrange a property visit to receive an estimate. I will provide a quote in writing (email or text) after seeing the scope of work and doing a bit of research.
Note about being busy/response times: Because I am a one-person operation (I have advertising support from a friend and sometimes employees help with jobs, but for the most part I'm by myself), it is often the case, especially when I have jobs lined up that I don't have time to provide a quote or start a project/job in a timely manner. In such cases, I take down your information and will follow up with you once my workload clears up a bit, and I have time to take on additional clients and plan additional jobs. You may follow up with me as often as you need to see where you are in my work request queue.
