What I've learned about Eastern European and Central Asian Cooking

• I don't have much experience with this cuisine though my family is Russian. Most food from the Soviet Union is nostalgic, delicious, and strange at the same time. Crab and corn salad is a dish, for example, which centers fake crab as the main dish. It's like a meal based on spam, but its delicious. This style of cuisine really heavily relies on specialized recipes to get it right, and I hope in the future to really dig into this style of cooking.
